Through this exhibition, artist Rosa Leff captures glimpses of her adopted home, Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico is an island territory of the United States located south of Florida. Its rich history dates back centuries and includes contributions by indigenous people, Spanish colonists, enslaved Africans and contemporary North Americans.
Rosa Neff specializes in works created from hand-cut paper. While her exhibition doesn’t attempt to define Puerto Rico in its entirety; rather, it offers glimpses into the everyday moments and overlooked landscapes that lie beyond the familiar tourist trail.
