Wood is an organic material made from trees or other plants that can be used to create a wide variety of products, especially furniture. Along with stone, clay and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans.
The class will cover the basics of woodworking using both machine and hand tools, including spindle turning and shaping by hand.
