Spend a sizzling March afternoon sampling and savoring some of the best chili in town.

Chili con carne (more commonly known as simply “chili”) is a spicy stew of Mexican origin. Its primary ingredient is chili pepper, a variety of berry-fruit cultivated for their spicy heat. Other components include tomatoes, garlic, onion, beans and often meat (usually beef).

Proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh Deaf Blind Lions Club, which has been supporting blind people since 1917. Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
