This group is open to anyone who is going through cancer or has gone through cancer.
The term “cancer” refers to a broad range of diseases that involve uncontrolled cell growth that usually results in tumors. These tumors might spread to other parts of the body. Lifestyle (such as smoking) and environment (like certain infections) are the usual causes. Cancer can be but is not always fatal.
This group also welcomes family members of people with cancer. The goal is to offer support, combat loneliness and turn to Jesus in the midst of suffering.
