At this play-and-learn exhibit, visitors learn from the five special insects featured in Eric Carle’s classic series of children’s books.
Author, designer and illustrator Eric Carle (1929-2021) is best known for more than 70 books such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which have delighted children for generations.
Drawing from the books, the exhibition invites museumgoers to step inside the author and illustrator’s nature-filled worlds through hands-on environments and artmaking
inspired by his distinctive collage techniques.
