Join Jeff and Colleen Shirey — founders of Salsa Pittsburgh — as they bring their lively salsa classes and open-floor dancing outdoors.
Salsa is a form of music and dance that originated in 1960’s Latin America blending predominantly Cuban rhythms with elements of jazz, rock and soul. The word “salsa” is Spanish for “sauce” and is often referred to a hot, spicy concoction.
The Shirey’s created Salsa Pittsburgh to teach salsa and stage salsa-theme events.
Enjoy a 30-minute beginner-friendly salsa dance lesson, followed by three hours of open dance to practice your moves and socialize.
