Come for pickleball pointers and friendly competition.

Similar to tennis, pickleball is a sport in which two players (or four, as “doubles”) use a paddle or racket to hit a hollow plastic ball over a net. Play continues until one side is unable to return the ball or commits a rule infraction. The sport was created in 1965 by businessman and politician Joel Pritchard (1925-1997) with two friends.

Presented by the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP), whose mission is to make Pittsburgh the most dynamic and diverse place by engaging young adults.
