Children age 5 and under (with their caregiver) celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through song, stories and crafts.
Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic culture to America’s achievements, culture and history. The celebration traces its history to 1968 and the introduction of National Hispanic Heritage Week at the behest of California Congressman George Brown Jr. (1920-1999).
Through reading, play, and hands-on discovery, little learners will explore history in engaging, age-appropriate ways while making memories and new friends along the way.
