Citizen’s Live At The Wylie is a state of the art, 4,500-capacity, 98,500-square-foot music venue located in the city’s historic Hill District.

Beginning in the years leading up to World War I (1914-1918), The Hill District was the cultural center of African American life in the city and a major jazz center in the country. Urban redevelopment efforts of the 1950s disrupted the community and the area went into decline. Citizens Live At The Wylie is part of a larger movement to reignite the Lower Hill’s cultural spark.

The decor reflects this history with special elements such as a mirrored piano, a vintage photobooth and a gallery of vintage photos.

Among the facilities is the Vinyl Room, a premium lounge for true music lovers. The naming rights are held by financial services firm Citizens Bank.
