This spellbinding dance piece traces the steps we take, both forward and backward, in search of our higher selves.
It is inspired by the 1592 novel Journey to the West written by Chinese writer Wu Cheng’en (1500-1582). The novel follows a monk on his fantastical journey to India.
Co-founded in 2011 by Asian British choreographer Aakash Odedra, the company pushes boundaries while using the voice of British Asian experience to tell new stories through dance about modern life.
