Begun as a creative outlet for the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Bruno, the band Awolnation blends live instrumentation with electronic elements to craft an exciting hybrid drawing from the whole of pop music.
The band’s name is derived from Aaron Bruno’s high school moniker, AWOL, which is a military acronym for “absent without leave.”
