A bad movie and bingo combine for a fun night.
Bingo is a game of chance played with randomly drawn numbers that players match against numbers on pre-printed on 5×5 cards. Each game concludes when the first person achieves a specified pattern from the drawn numbers and calls out the word “bingo!” The game is believed to have its roots in 16th Century Italy.
Play along with a screening of the 1984 film “Supergirl,” an overacted and underfunded about a female superhero (Helen Slater, pictured) battling a power-hungry would-be witch.
