Mentored by some of Pittsburgh’s greatest music legends, singer/songwriter James Royce leads his namesake band in a high energy interactive performance.
Royce celebrates the reclamation of genres that are rooted in African-American culture — rock, hip-hop, blues, soul and funk — but connect us all. Their music addresses social injustices, equity in music, fragility of the human heart and the triumphs over the daily struggles just to exist in a world that has often lost its humanity.
Also performing in this “all-ages” concert are Mani Bahia & The Mob, Central Flow and Aristotle Jones.
