A trio of drag performers offer a hilarious running commentary during the screening of this notoriously bad 1997 superhero movie.

The slang word “drag” refers to a person (usually male) who assumes the exaggerated dress and mannerisms of the other gender for artistic or entertainment purposes. For centuries, men have dressed as women during traditional customs and rituals. In medieval England, when women were banned from appearing on stage, men in dresses was common in plays. The term “drag” first appeared in the 1870’s and may have derived from the sensation of long skirts trailing on the floor.

George Clooney and Chris O’Donnel portray the titular comic book heroes, who find themselves battling the chilling evil of Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and the seductive Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) — a duo plotting to take over the world.
