This 2019 documentary film reveals the untold history of America’s Indian Adoption Era, a time when Native children were stolen from their families and forced to assimilate, the process itself designed to wipe out generations of culture.

From the 1880’s through the 1950’s, there were various programs by the United States to make these people “more American” regardless of their wishes.

A question & answer session accompanies this screening.
