This exhibition investigates recent artist projects, installations and videos related to the fast disappearing Arctic Circle.
The Arctic Circle marks the northernmost point of Earth and covers roughly 4% of the planet’s surface. The climate is generally cold, although a warm Atlantic Ocean current allows for ice-free ports on the northern parts of Finland and Russia.
Recent temperature increases associated with global warming may be responsible for some troubling changes in the Arctic Circle’s climate.
