Campy singer and songwriter Kayleigh Rose Amstutz – better known as Chappell Roan — infuses a dark and unsettling sense of yearning to her otherwise bright pop tunes.
Kayleigh’s stage name combines her late grandfather’s surname (Chappell) with the title of a 1915 cowboy song written by Carmen “Curley” Fletcher (1892-1954).
