Experience an unapologetic, full-length dance work celebrating #BlackGirlMagic.
#BlackGirlMagic is an online movement dating to at least 2013 to celebrate the power, beauty and resilience of African-American women. (The “#” symbol is used by some digital media to help users share content or a theme). The movement has inspired many real-world events and programs using the title.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibit, “Circles: Reclamation,” a project in conjunction with the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater.
