The daring Argentine filmmaker Gaspar Noe (pictured) was the driving force behind this largely improvised 2018 film.
Set in 1996, a group of French dancers decides to close out three intense days of rehearsal with party. But somebody has spiked the wine, and soon it’s impossible for them to resist their neuroses and psychoses — and especially their impulses.
The cast is comprised primarily by professional dancers (not actors), who were given no lines of dialogue beforehand and had almost complete liberty as to where to take the story and characters.
