Karaoke is a form of interactive entertainment first introduced in Japan in the early 1970’s. Using a microphone, an amateur singer performs to recorded music (usually a classic pop or rock song) with the lyrics appearing on a screen. Singing contests using a karaoke machine are common. The term “karaoke” comes from combining the Japanese words for “empty” and “orchestra.”

Come in play-costumes (“cosplay”) for fun activities and contests.

Donations & box office go to the Hero’s Initiative, a charity that helps comic book creators make ends meet when they need it most.
