Learn the basics of kiln-fired enameling in a fun evening full of color.

Enamel is a material created by fusing powdered glass onto another surface, such as metal or stone, through extreme heat. As the melting powder cools, it hardens to a smooth, durable coating. Enameling is an old and widely adopted technology that has been used in decorative arts (especially jewelry) since at least the 13th Century BCE.

Each student will have the opportunity to explore several techniques and leave with a completed enamel pendant or keychain. All materials will be provided. Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Beer and lights snacks will be provided.
