Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) is an English rock band co-founded in 1970 by songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jeff Lynne. The band’s progressive style is heavy on synthesizers and strings resulting in an amazing atmospheric sound.
Lynne eventually became the band’s sole leader, arranging and producing every album while writing virtually all of their original material.
