Discover six hard-to-find beers straight from Rhinegeist Brewery in a class taught by Chris Shield, director of education at the brewery.

Beer is among the oldest and most popular alcoholic beverages in the world. It’s brewed from cereal grains with hops added to provide additional flavor. Archaeological evidence suggests that beer was first created over 13,000 years ago. The phrase “craft beer” refers to a specialty variety made in small quantities at what is often called a “microbrewery.”

Established in 2013, Rhinegeist is a craft brewery in Cincinnati. The company’s names translates to English as “Ghost of the Rhine.”

There will be a second session at 8:30 p.m.
