Formed in 1991, the foursome known as Goodie Mob explores social and political issues such as racism, discrimination, geopolitics and gentrification through its distinctive brand of hip-hop.
The band is comprised of Cameron “Big Gipp” Gipp, Willie “Khujo” Knighton, Thomas “CeeLo Green” Callaway and Robert “T-Mo” Barnett.
This free, outdoor show is being staged on 9th Street. Presented as part of the Three Rivers Arts Festival, which has been presenting visual and performance art each summer since 1960. The festival is produced by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
