A child of Ecuadorian immigrants, the multi-talented Roberto Lange (a.k.a. Helado Negro), blends experimental ambient composition and melodic hooks into a hypnotic (and bilingual) avant-pop experience
Lange has cultivated an untraditional approach to song-craft that places his voice on an adventurous musical impulse without shying away from familiar pop sounds.
He stage name, Helado Negro, roughly translates to English as “Black Ice Cream.” This is an “all-ages” concert.
