Local high school boys and girls can practice their rowing skills in this spring program.

Crew rowing is a water sport in which teams race in human-powered craft that have the oars attached to each boat. The sport originated among English river workers in the early 17th century. There are a wide variety of course types and formats of racing, but most elite and championship level racing is conducted on calm water courses 2 kilometers long with several lanes marked using buoys.
