The Frick welcomes one of world’s foremost authorities on Impressionism as he shares his research and perspectives on the reception and popularity the movement from its origins in the 19th century into the 20th century.

Impressionism is a 19th-century art movement characterised by paintings created with relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes.
