This program offers an opportunity for interested people to improve their Italian language skills through conversation.

One of Europe’s oldest countries, Italy is located on a peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. Centuries ago, Italy’s capital city of Rome was the capital of one of the world’s greatest empires. The native language in Latin, which was the primary language of that empire. Today, Italian is spoken by some 85 million people, mostly in Italy, Switzerland and some parts of Africa.
