Singer and songwriter Jamie Stewart shines in this solo concert performing the songs of his experimental rock band Xiu Xiu.
Xiu Xiu (pronounced as “ju-ju”) specializes in noise pop songs that are both confrontational and lovely by using a wide range of instruments — from the electric guitar to the brass bells.The band’s name comes from the 1998 Chinese film “Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl.”
This is an “all-ages” concert.
