Raised in Indiana and based in Nashville, Jon McLaughlin brings all of his experiences and beliefs into each pop-rock song he creates — something that is especially true now that he’s the father of two young girls.
Jon came to national attention in 2008 when performed on live television the song “So Close” during the Academy Awards ceremony. Written by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, Jon had sung the song in the hit 2007 film “Enchanted.”
