This event will showcase the best (and potentially) worst singers in our city.
Karaoke is a form of interactive entertainment first introduced in Japan in the early 1970’s. Using a microphone, an amateur singer performs to recorded music (usually a classic pop or rock song) with the lyrics appearing on a screen. Singing contests using a karaoke machine are common. The term “karaoke” comes from combining the Japanese words for “empty” and “orchestra.”
Sign up to sing and bring your friends, the louder the applause, the better chance you have to win the grand prize! Don’t feel like singing? Don’t worry, raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the night to anyone that buys a ticket.
This is an “all-ages” event.
