Led by bassist/composer Nimrod Speaks and trombonist Reggie Watkins, the Keystone Jazz Collective celebrates Pennsylvania’s rich jazz legacy by showcasing some of the state’s finest music artist.

The collective’s name refers to Pennsylvania’s nickname as the Keystone State. A keystone is the central architectural piece at the apex of an arch or vault. Pennsylvania assumed the nickname in 1803 because it was (at the time) at the geographic center of the new county.

This is an “all-ages” concert.
