This exhibition explores the depictions of African Americans — both honorable and shiftless imagery, and in high and low art forms — in European American popular culture from the past 150 years.
Admission is free. Presented as part of the Three Rivers Arts Festival, a project of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust featuring multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts attractions in Downtown Pittsburgh. The first festival was staged in 1960. For more information, call (412) 456-6666.
