This hilarious 1986 film is the classic tale of boy meets killer vegetable — featuring interactive props, specialty drinks and the freedom to sing-along.
Nebbish florist Seymour Krelboyne (Rick Moranis) pines for his sexy co-worker Audrey (Ellen Greene) and frustrates his struggling boss Mr. Mushnik (Vincent Gardenia). But his dismal existence starts to brighten after discovering an unusual plant he christens Audrey II. But soon Seymour discovers that Audrey II can talk, sing, move — and demands human blood to survive.
The original stage musical was based on a low-budget 1960 film of the same name starring Pittsburgh native Jonathan Haze.
