Everyone in the autism community is welcome to come and have fun, regardless of musical experience.
Autism is a disorder of neural development that is characterized by impaired social interaction and communication and by restricted and repetitive behavior. Every 15 minutes, another family receives the devastating news that their child has an autism spectrum disorder.
Microphones keyboards, guitars, amps and percussion instruments will be available. Presented in conjunction with Band Together Pittsburgh, a nonprofit organization that envisions using music to inspire and enrich the lives of those on the autism spectrum.
