Pulled from the archives of the Lawrence County Historical Society, on display are images of local photographer John Hitch (1911-2006) documenting the evolution of New Castle.

New Castle is a town of 20,000 people and the seat of rural Lawrence County. Hitch’s nostalgic photographs explores the urban renewal of New Castle in the 1960s as a foundation for reflecting upon revitalization efforts today.
