Author Lorraine Avila discusses her debut novel, The Making of Yolanda la Bruja, with educator Kleaver Cruz.
The Making of Yolanda la Bruja was inspired by Avila’s experience as a Dominican-American growing up in the Bronx section of New York City as well as the Latin American occult tradition known as bruja.
