For more than 30 years, the multifaceted artist Mary Timony has cut a distinctive path through the world of independent music. Her songs are often dark and heavy works that echo the model melodies of sacred music from 12th-century Europe.
Mary has incorporated her distinctive sound into that of inventive yet little-remembered rock bands such as Helium (1992-1998) and Autoclave (1990-1991).
