Bring a blanket and come hang out on the alley at the Frick Environmental Center while a Eta Aquariid meteor shower illuminates the night sky.
The Eta Aquariid showers are visible from about April 19 to about May 28 each year. They appear to originate near the star designated Eta Aquari.
Naturalists will share stories about the night sky and other observable natural phenomena during this relaxing evening. Please come dressed for the weather. Presented by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, a non-profit organization that promotes a wide appreciation and enjoyment of a sustainable park system in Pittsburgh whose landscapes, facilities and programming set world standards of excellence.
