Comprised of an effortlessly likeable group of friends, the band Mom Jeans (often stylist with a period as “Mom Jeans.”) has created a brand of emo-pop that’s self-aware but not self-indulgent. The quartet delivers thee for stream-of-consciousness songs in an energetic performance that prompts audiences to shred their worries and simply bounce along.
The band’s name is a whimsical take on the unattractive, high-waisted jeans that were strangely popular among middle-aged women in the early 1990’s.
