Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is proud to debut a new exhibit based on the exploration of opposites in bestselling children’s book author/illustrator Mo Willems’ recent book, Opposites Abstract.
Mo Willems is best known for the Elephant and Piggie series of children’s books about two friends: an elephant named Gerald, and a pig named Piggie.
Taking inspiration from the eye-popping, emotive and highly accessible words and images of the book, the exhibit leads children and former children of all ages to explore the complicated yet simple concept of opposites in their own unique way through hands-on experiences, art making and performances.
