A panel of professionals discusses how artificial intelligence s posing an entirely new set of ethical challenges that affect human-human and human-machine interactions.

Among computer scientists, the phrase “artificial intelligence” ( or “AI”) refers to a device that perceives its environment, correctly interprets external data, makes a choice and can act on that choice.

Three experts from Carnegie Mellon University — a worldwide leader in artificial intelligence — will explore the intersection of trust and technology to help illuminate when we can, and should, trust our AIs.

Presented as part of the Outside the Academy lecture series, which provides a platform for academics to discuss their areas of passion and research in a public setting.
