Homeland Elegies blending fact and fiction to tell the story of longing and dispossession in the world that 9/11 made — of an immigrant father, an American son and the country they both call home.
Presented by Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures, whose mission is to connect celebrated authors with the community, elevate civic discourse, and inspire creativity and a passion for the literary arts. The organization was founded in 1991 by Pulitzer Prize winning Pittsburgh author Annie Dillard (born 1945).
