In honor of Women’s History Month, join musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a program celebrating female artists.
Founded in 1895 by British composer, conductor and organist Frederic Archer (1838-1901), the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious orchestras having performed around the world including a 2004 concert for Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).
Facilitated by conductorAndres Franco, this evening program explores the unique journeys of several female voices. Enjoy performances by an all-female chamber ensemble of PSO members Jennifer Orchard (Violin), Marta Krechkovsky (Violin) Tatjana Mead Chamis (Viola) and Bronwyn Banerdt (Cello).
