The film begins with a diner hold-up staged by a couple, then begins to shift from one storyline to another before returning to the diner for the conclusion.
Self-reverential and iconoclastic, “Pulp Fiction” is noted for its mix of humor, music and violence. The film’s title refers to the fiction magazines of the early 20th century. They were generally printed on paper made from cheap wood pulp.
