Ridgemont High is a local six-member band that joyfully plays some of the biggest pop and rock hits of the 1980’s.
Some of the songs that Ridgemont High commonly perform include Billy Idol’s “Dancing with Myself” (1980), Cyndi Lauper’s “She Bob” (1984) and Rick Springfield’s “Jessie’s Girl” (1981).
The band takes its name from the 1982 film “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” which propelled the careers of actors Sean Penn, Phoebe Cates and Judge Reinhold.
