Witness live robotics demonstrations, interact with the minds driving these innovations, and discover the transformative potential of robotics in revolutionizing your lifestyle and career.

A robot is a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions, either automatically through pre-programming or remotely by human direction. The term “robot” was invented by Czech painter and poet Josef Capek (1887-1945) whose brother, writer Karel Capek (1890-1938), introduced it in his 1920 play “R.U.R.”

Among computer scientists, the phrase “artificial intelligence” (or “AI”) refers to a device that perceives its environment, correctly interprets external data, makes a choice and can act on that choice.

Whether you’re a business enthusiast seeking networking opportunities, a technology aficionado venturing into uncharted territories, or merely curious about the future of robotics and AI, embark on your journey with us at Discovery Day.

Presented by the Pittsburgh Robotic Network, which represents the companies and leaders who make up the region’s robotics, autonomy and AI ecosystem.
