Well known for his years with legendary musician Miles Davis (1926-1991), double bassist Ron Carter is the epitome of class and elegance.

Ron is among the most original, prolific and influential bassists in jazz. He has recorded over 2200 albums and won three Grammy Awards. He is a brilliant rhythmic and melodic player who uses everything in his bass and cello arsenal.

Experience a set of distinctive jazz delivered by an artist who has been a world-class bassist and cellist since the ’60s. Presented as part of the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival, which celebrates a distinctively American art form. The festival is a project of the August Wilson Center for African-American Culture and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
