Two pairs of brothers — one duo known as the Mississippi Allstars and the other as the Rebirth Brass Band — join talents for shattering, foot-stomping concert.
The North Mississippi Allstars is actually a duo, Luther and Cody, who are the sons of country music legend Jim Dickinson (1941-2009).
Jim was known for blending experimental/psychedelic excursions into Hill Country anthems and improvisation. Luther and Cody go a step further: crafting a mix of bluegrass, hip-hop and ragtime that they energetically play with a reverence for both Delta tradition and rock & roll abandon.
Led by musician brothers Philip and Keith Frazier, the award winning Rebirth Brass Band remains committed to upholding the tradition of brass bands while extending themselves into the realms of funk and hip-hop to create their signature sound.
