Local comedian, podcaster and raconteur Alan Olifson hosts a night featuring some of Pittsburgh’s funniest storytellers relating a true story while a group of musicians provide a real-time soundtrack.
The show’s title is a play on words: a speakeasy was a secret bar serving illegal alcoholic beverages during the Prohibition Era (1920-1933) in the United States.
Each tale is followed by Alan interviewing the storyteller asking the most burning of burning questions. There will be a second show starting at 9:30 p.m.
